SUGAR
Sugar in crystalline form, intended for general use in the food industry (beverages, cookies, confectionery, chocolate, yogurt and ice cream). It is produced through the juice extracted from sugar cane.
ETHANOL
Hydrous ethanol is used directly as fuel in motor vehicles. Anhydrous ethanol is used as a gasoline additive in the proportion of 27%, to replace tetraethyl lead. It is non-polluting and improves engine performance.
ENERGY
Generated from the burning of sugarcane bagasse in high pressure boilers. The total energy produced by Alta Mogiana is sufficient to supply all its consumption and still maintains a surplus.
